Some of you may remember my previous posts on pens and their importance to me. Namely that people shouldn't STEAL them from my desk.
Some may even remember how I took the time to affix small WARNING LABELS to each of my new Pentel RSVP pens that say "Please don't steal me!"
Lateley I've been noticing my RSVP pen count depleting from it's original menagerie of 6 pens to a paltry 3.
"Ugh. Who even cares anymore? My LABELED pens even get stolen. Screw it."
At least that was my thinking until I saw a co-worker (slightly my superior) WITH ONE OF MY PENS. AND SHE TOOK THE LABEL OFF.
AAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This being Friday, and me being too tired out with all the other shit on my plate to say anything, I dejectedly let it slide. Didn't say ANYTHING.
Didn't say anything even when I saw her put it in her mouth. Yeah. That's right. And she was gesturing with the pen so much I almost thought she was rubbing it in my face,
"Yeah honey, I took your damn pen. I took it and I made it MINE. Made it mine by ripping off your courteous label and SUCKING ON IT."
I guess thats just how much of a doormat I am. I can't even ask for my stolen pen back. God, I need to grow some.

Put a harsher warning on your pens. Something like: "Stop licking my pens you fucking cunt." That oughta do it. :)

I'm probably uptight, but am also too aware of office politics, power struggles, and control issues. She's rubbing it in her face that she stole her pens, and there is intent there - she took the label off. Game on!
Hhhmmm. Until you get the courage to say something, perhaps you should put out decoy pens that have taken a quick dip in the toilet. When you see her sucking on one of them, it'll at least make you feel a little better and maybe even make you smile.

I've deducted that you must have a BA in like Fine Art or something. I have a BA in Film Studies (that I don't use - ::sniffles::).
I'm guessing the people at your work don't have BA's.

Sometimes people think I go too far with my weird jokes. To them I say I don't go far enough!
Yeah, I'd never ACTUALLY go through with it...but I've certainly THOUGHT about doing something like that many a time ;D
...and come to think about it, the more I think about doing something mean, the more I just end up stewing and getting more upset, so just disregard all of this ;P

I hate my pens being stolen. I have an office supply addiction and my pens are important to me. My favorite type of pen is the Uni-Ball Vision Elite. The medium flow ones are the best!
But I hide these because my husband takes them...classmates ask to borrow them, and then they are gone!
Oh, one of my co-workers always uses the hot pink Uni-Ball. It's like, steal this, bitch? And I'll come after you.
